The Cross Keys Bar and Restaurant is set in the quiet village of Bishop Middleham, which is a popular destination for walkers who come to enjoy the 3 mile countryside walk. The Cross Keys is family run by Bryan, Karin, Zoe and Mark
our head chef.
The standard of food is well above Pub & Restaurant average, and was sampled on more than one occasion by ex Prime Minister Tony Blair. There is a large Beer Garden to the rear and a pool table in the bar which has a large wide screen TV for Live Sports from Sky and BT Sport
Local Produce
We stock our restaurant kitchen in much the same way that we stock our home kitchen, with daily deliveries of fresh ingredients that we select ourselves.
In addition to our menu items, we also offer daily specials inspired by seasonal ingredients, the weather and how we are feeling. We are always on the lookout for new sources of ideas and inspiration, so when we travel the world (which we admit, we do often) we bring back our favorite flavors and culinary discoveries.
